ALL ABILITIES

One hour treks | Two hour treks | Ladies Night | Heather, hills and Hamish

The Centre offers treks and hacks to suit all abilities, and complete beginners are welcome.

Shorter treks and hacks are offered, as well as day rides. Other durations can usually be arranged to suit. Bookings can be made for individuals, or for groups of up to eight people. Keeping the parties small ensures that the ride leaders can give their attention to everyone, and to ensure all rides are both fun and safe.

One hour treks

These treks are suitable for all abilities, especially complete beginners or nervous riders. Trek means that the ride will be taken at a steady walk. A relaxing way to see the Castle grounds and surrounding areas.

Time: Treks leave at 10am and 2pm

Cost: 1 hour £24 (add £10 for light lunch)

Two hour treks

These rides are suitable for the more experienced rider, capable of walk, trot and canter. The longer duration and slightly faster pace allow riders to see more of the estate.

Time: Hacks leave at 10am and 2pm

Cost: £36 (add £10 for light lunch)

Ladies nights

On a Tuesday night, after a stressful day, why not book yourself in for some ‘me’ time and enjoy a leisurely evening ride? One hour or two hour rides available. Ladies nights run from April to June.

Time: Ladies night rides leave at 6.30pm

Cost: 1 hour £24, 2 hours £36

Heather, hills and Hamish

Take a guided tour through the stunning hills and heather moors of Atholl. Following old drover tracks, perhaps catching a glimpse of roe deer, grouse and red squirrels as buzzards fly overhead. The ride will be guided by Hamish, an estate ghillie, who will be able to answer questions on stalking and heather management. The two hour ride is suitable for all riders.

Time: 10am - 12noon every Wednesday from April to August

Cost: £39 (add £10 for light lunch)

All prices include VAT.
